Our Goals and Vision:
The current goal of The Children’s Project For Haiti is to promote and help support Ecole Mixte Aide Aux Enfants De La Cite Soleil. We plan to expand our student enrollment and add on a feeding center where children can be provided with a daily, nutritious breakfast.
In addition, we plan on establishing a vocational program so that graduates of the school can receive training in areas such as Automotive Mechanics, Carpentry, Sewing, Ironwork, and Agriculture through internship opportunities and partnerships with local trade schools. We foresee a scholarship fund for students who excel academically and would like to pursue higher education.
We know that by empowering children through education and vocational training and enlisting the support and involvement of their communities in the process, we can help build self-sufficient individuals, promote community independence and fight the effects of poverty and violence.
Together we can bring these children hope for a brighter tomorrow
